Dale "Gage", guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Hailing from South Sioux City Nebraska, Dale plays exclusively Strats and G&L Legacy guitars. When diabetic retinopathy began to rob Dale of his sight, he began work on a project to showcase his original compositions. Garfan is the outlet for Dale’s original music. He uses an aggressive combination of styles creating a distinctive type of guitar rock.

Jane Marie, lead vocals Jane Marie was born in the heart of Southern Missouri where she found an appreciation of music through a favorite uncle. She later found further inspiration from female vocalists such as: Nina Simone, Etta James, Liza Minelli, Ruth Brown, Alanis Morissette, Shirley Manson, Amanda Palmer and Fionna Apple she she sculpted. Now, she has stumbled back into the world of vocal music and is looking forward to starting down a new path singing for Garfan.

Kirk, bass guitar Kirk was born in Lincoln, but raised in North Platte. Music can pump you up when your down and calm you down when you need it. Music has always been a part of Kirk's life. Playing trombone in every band the high school would let him. In the Navy, when not on duty, playing an electric guitar with friends. Switched to bass when a praise band needed one. Kirk felt right at home with the bass and loves the feeling when the bass is in harmony with the drums and adding that foundation to the song that is so important.

Jason, guitar Born and raised in Florida, and moved to Nebraska when i was 9. I got my first guitar at 15 on Halloween 2008, and started committing to learning it after seeing Metallica in November of 2008. Practiced 4-8+ hours a day for about 2 years, played in Lincoln Easts' Jazz Bands junior and senior year of highschool (2009-2011) and started playing in local metal bands in late 2010. Main stylings come from Classic music, mainly Bach/Beethoven, Neo-Classical Shred Metal, light/alternative rock, 80s Speed Metal, 80s hair metal, and modern thrash/heavy metal. Main influences are Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Rage Against The Machine, Yngwie Malmsteen, Trivium and Bach.

Eric, drums Eric started playing drums when he was 13, buying his own kit with his lifetime savings up to that point ($95). He has 20 years of experience playing in cover bands around Lincoln, starting at the age of 16. When it comes to music, he and Dale think so close together it’s scary! He was excited to get the opportunity to work on this original project, and can’t wait to see what the rest of the world thinks of Garfan’s music.
